Ryan

Ryan Baylor has been working professionally in the fitness industry for the past 12 years. His diverse background includes personal training, cardiac, pulmonary, and diabetic rehabilitation as well as strength and conditioning. In addition to his years of practical experience, Ryan is an educator for the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) teaching their personal training workshops. To date, he has taught more than 1,000 personal training hopefuls throughout the USA.

Ryan Baylor graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science from Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA. While there, he worked side by side with his professors in the exercise physiology laboratory as an aide as well as a student tutor. In addition to going to school full time and playing on the school’s hockey and lacrosse teams, Ryan found the time to intern at Boston College as a strength and conditioning coach. While there, he worked with 34 division one college teams to help them prepare for their competitive seasons.

Ryan Baylor’s client base is quite diverse and ranges from competitive high school athletes to sedentary 80 year old men and women with multiple health issues. He also works with special populations including seniors, pregnant women, hypertensive clients, people with inflammatory diseases such as polymyalgia rheumatica, and HIV. Ryan holds multiple national certifications including personal training certifications from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, the National Academy of Sports Medicine and with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Ryan is currently an expert fellow for the National Board of Fitness Examiners
